Ryan McDonagh is an American professional ice hockey player. He is a defenseman. He plays for, and serves as the alternate captain of, Tampa Bay Lightning, of the National Hockey League.
Ryan is the son of Patty and Sean McDonagh. His uncle is professional football player and coach Steve Walsh. Ryan is married to Kaylee Keys, with whom he has one child.
